Reporting Internship
GATHER Media LLC is seeking a 2021 intern. We want interns who are eager to help share the stories of our amazing Veterans and Active Duty Military. Interns will have an opportunity to write stories focused on various topics for print and online.
Interns must have their own transportation & ZOOM account. Journalism experience, which may include work on a college newspaper, is required. Photography is a plus. Please send an email of inquiry and your resume with some writing samples to Pam McCormick at pam@gathermichigan.com. The deadline to apply is open. The internship will begin upon acceptance and continue in accordance with an internship agreement.
Photography Internship
GATHER Media LLC is also seeking a 2021 intern to photograph various article assignments. Interns will photograph people, businesses, and places for GATHER’s print magazines and website. Assignments may include portraits of local entrepreneurs, events, or local Veterans and Active Duty Miitary contributing content.
Interns must have their own transportation. Photography experience, which may include work on a college newspaper, is required. Video production and editing experience is a plus. Videography Internship
GATHER Media LLC is seeking a 2021 intern to produce videos related to upcoming stories or local events. Interns will produce videos on people, businesses, and events for GATHER’s website.
Interns must have their own transportation. Video production and editing experience is a requirement. Please send a resume along with 4-5 video samples to pam@gathermichigan.com. The internship will begin upon acceptance and continue in accordance with an internship agreement.
Sponsorship Internship
GATHER Media LLC is seeking a 2021 intern to help with seeking sponsorships for print and digital articles, videos, and events. We are seeking an intern who will brainstorm potential sponsors for articles, videos series, etc.. Interns will be tasked with reaching out to potential sponsors, creating sponsorship packages, and working with the GATHER sales team.
